Anime Breaker Magic Tower: the three towers, the gates that keep you out, and what each floor pays
The Magic Tower is three 100-floor dungeons — Fire, Water and Wind — entered from Clover Village. Each one needs its own Spirit to open and a Magic Tower Key per party member to run, and each one pays a different permanent multiplier as you climb: Energy from Fire, Gold from Water, Damage from Wind. This page covers the two gates, the drop panel behind every material, and the two upgrade loops the towers feed.
What you need before a tower will open
Both gates are checked at the room, not at the door of the zone, so two players can stand in the same hub and only one of them can start a run. The second gate applies to everyone in the party.
A tower will not open without the Spirit that matches its attribute: a creator's attempt to start the Fire or Wind tower raised "You need the Fire Spirit to enter this Tower!" on screen. The walkthrough reads the Wind Spirit drop as 0.02% with a 0/5,000 pity, and the Fire Spirit as the same 0.02% with a 0/5,000 pity off Crimson Lion and Undefeated Lioness. The Water Spirit's source monster is not shown.
The key sits in the Clover Raid reward table as a Ticket, read at 0.5% with a 0/200 pity. The same walkthrough states that every member of the party needs one, not just the player who opens the room, so a group of four is four keys.
The Spirit inventory behind this is a system of its own: the Magic Companions panel was unlocked for a cost read on screen as 10c Gold. Three companions are listed there, one per attribute.
What the towers drop
These are the rates printed on the tower's own drop panel for the current build, so they move when the developer rebalances. The pity column matters more than the percentage: it is the count at which the drop is guaranteed, and it is the reason a slow farm still ends.
| Drop | Panel rate | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Grimoire Page (matching attribute) | 0.011% · pity 0/9,000 | Only the page for the tower's own attribute drops there. |
| Magic Scroll | 0.02% · pity 0/1,000 | The item that unlocks a page. |
| Magic Knight Amulet | Pity 0/30,000 | Shown as a one-time drop on the panel; the pity counter is shared across all three towers. |
| Spirit Orb | 10% · 1–2 per drop | The currency that raises a page's tier. |
| Magic Coin | 5% · 8–10 per drop | The only currency Magic Progression accepts. |
| Zone currency and dungeon coins | Listed without a rate | The tower also pays the standard Clover Village currencies. |
A drop panel is a snapshot of one build. Read the panel in your own client before spending keys against it.
Which tower to climb first
The three ladders are identical except for the stat they pay, so the pick is about the stat your account is missing rather than about difficulty. Every ten floors grants the next achievement in that tower's line.
Ten achievements, one per ten floors, read as 1.05x Energy at the first and 1.5x at the tenth.
The same ten-step ladder, paid in Gold instead.
The same ten-step ladder, paid in Damage instead.
The two loops the towers feed
- · Unlock cost read on screen: 600Sp Gold.
- · Level counter starts at 0/100 and grants multiplier as it rises — 1x Energy and 1x Damage at level 0.
- · A single upgrade attempt was shown at a 20% success chance and consumed Magic Coins.
- · Magic Coins drop only inside the towers, so attempts are gated by tower runs.
- · Drops from all three towers on one shared 0/30,000 pity.
- · Rolled at the Amulet Building, shown at 250,000 Gold per reroll into Energy, Damage or Gold.
- · The finished example on screen was a Tier 6/6 Sin amulet at 3x Gold, 6x Energy and 3x Damage.
Each of the three companions carries its own book, and each book is twelve pages. A page only drops in the tower that matches its attribute, is unlocked with a Magic Scroll, and is raised in tier by Spirit Orbs — six tiers, no downgrades, with an automatic upgrade that stops at the top tier. That is the slow half of the system: the pages decide how high a multiplier can go, and the achievements decide how fast it gets there. The Grimoire layer itself, including the Magic Knight quest line, is covered on its own page.
Read the Grimoire reference- These are panel readings, not developer values. Every rate and cost above was read off one player's screens on the 6 October 2026 build. The developer has not published a tower table, so the panel in your own client outranks this page.
- The Water Spirit source. The walkthrough never opens the monster that drops it, so this page does not name one.
- What a failed upgrade takes. Magic Progression shows a 20% success chance but no failure state, so whether a failure refunds, burns or downgrades is unconfirmed.
- Fight-level detail. No run is shown from inside a tower, so enemy health, floor composition and the difficulty curve are absent rather than estimated.
- A version label. The walkthrough calls this Update 3.5 and the in-game log is quoted with a 3.5 entry, but the developer's own citable fact is the build timestamp on the experience page, which is what this page dates the system to.
Anime Breaker Magic Tower FAQs
Where these descriptions come from
The developer's published contribution is the experience name, which the games API returned as Anime Breaker [🏰TOWER] with a build timestamp of 6 October 2026 18:50 UTC. Everything mechanical is attributed to one creator walkthrough of that build, DomiBlox, “Anime Breaker Update 3.5 Guide!! NEW Magic Companions & Tower Added!!” (2026-10-06), where each number is visible on the drop panel or unlock dialog being shown. A second creator went live on the same build the same evening, which is how the update was spotted, but its clear facts come from the walkthrough.
