Anime Breaker Party System
Anime Breaker's Update 1.5 added a party-style quality-of-life feature: the run you join can follow the player who started it, so a shared farm keeps going while you stay out of the menus. This page covers what the follow-the-host control does, how the raid chain restarts on its own, and which parts of the feature are still unverified.
Follow the Host, Step by Step
The loop below is the one shown in creator coverage of the Update 1.5 log (SMG Infinity, 22 Sep 2026, @4:40–5:05 of the walkthrough). It is the fastest route to a farm that runs without re-opening the run menu on every cycle.
- STEP 1
Start or join the farm the normal way
One player opens the activity — an auto portal run or an auto raid — and becomes the host of that session. Everything that follows is anchored to that player's run selection.
- STEP 2
Open Settings and pick that player
The follow control lives in Settings. Selecting the host there is what makes your client track their run instead of dropping you back to the world after each clear.
- STEP 3
Stay in the session while the chain runs
With the host selected, the run keeps repeating and you keep collecting the drops. This is the part that lets a shared farm run while you are not touching the controls.
- STEP 4
Watch the ticket count
The chain restarts on its own only while a ticket is available. When the supply runs out the automatic restart stops, which is the natural end of a session.
The Raid Auto-Restart Rule
Raids used to end with a return to the world and another run selection. Update 1.5 changed that: clearing a raid queues the next one immediately, and the walkthrough describes it as starting with no loading screen, no window and no delay, so a player with tickets gets dropped straight into the next match.
- Starts the next raid as the previous one ends.
- Keeps the session inside the raid instead of the world.
- Pairs with following the host, so two players can hold the same chain.
- It does not create tickets — the restart needs one per run.
- It is not described as a reward multiplier.
- No source checked for this page states a per-session raid limit.
Confirmed vs Still Open
Update 1.5 shipped on 22 Sep 2026 and the party feature is young enough that public coverage is a handful of creator videos rather than documentation. The table separates what the coverage actually shows from what a reader would reasonably assume and should therefore check in-game.
| Question | Status | Where to confirm it |
|---|---|---|
| A follow-the-host control exists | Shown in 1.5 coverage | Settings menu in your own client |
| Raid chain restarts automatically | Stated in 1.5 coverage | Clear one raid and watch the next start |
| A ticket is required for the restart | Stated in 1.5 coverage | Raid ticket counter in-game |
| Maximum players in one session | Unknown | Settings / activity lobby in-game |
| Whether follow covers secret bosses | Unknown | Try it on a boss entrance and watch the run |
| Any buff value granted by the session | Not documented | Do not plan a build around it yet |
Why the Feature Matters Most to Guilds
The party control changes the economics of running portals and raids with other people. A portal farm is a drop chase: the value is in the number of clears, and the cost of a shared session used to be the time spent re-joining between them. Following the host removes that cost, and the raid auto-restart removes it again for raids, which is why guild groups are the players who gain the most from it.
Practical consequence: a session is now limited by tickets and portal availability rather than by menu time. If a guild keeps a stock of raid tickets, a single host can carry the group through a long chain while everyone else stays on the follow setting.

Evidence and Recheck Date
Feature behaviour on this page comes from creator coverage of the Update 1.5 log: SMG Infinity, “New Party System, Fast Grinding Buffs, OP Items” (22 Sep 2026), captioned walkthrough at approx. @4:40–5:20, plus the public Update 1.5 uploads listed on the patch-log page. Player limits, world coverage and buff values are marked unknown because no source states them — the in-game Settings menu is the authority. Checked 2026-09-24; if a later patch changes the follow control, report it via the contact page and the section is corrected rather than quietly patched.
